Frequently Asked Questions

What is Figma Weave?
Figma Weave is a plugin that connects Figma directly to AI image generation. It lets you design with AI inside your existing Figma workflow — generate images, iterate on compositions, and refine outputs without leaving the canvas.
Do I need Figma experience?
Basic Figma familiarity is helpful but not required. If you can create a frame and place elements on a canvas, you have enough to start. The studio teaches you the Weave-specific workflows from scratch.
What's the difference between a Live Studio and a regular course?
A Live Studio is hands-on and production-focused. Instead of lectures and homework, you build real projects in real time with an instructor guiding you. Think of it as a creative residency — you walk away with finished work, not just knowledge.
What kind of projects will I create?
Students have created fashion lookbooks, product design concepts, brand identity systems, and campaign visuals — all using AI-generated imagery integrated into professional design layouts in Figma.
Is Figma Weave free to use?
The Figma Weave plugin has its own pricing. We will cover setup and credit management during the studio. The studio tuition does not include Figma Weave credits, but the amount needed for the course is modest.
Do I keep access to studio recordings after it ends?
Yes. You keep lifetime access to all session recordings, project files, and studio materials.
Is there a certificate?
Yes. You receive a Lighthouse AI Academy certificate of completion after finishing the studio and presenting your final project.
